* A post graduate degree in law, public administration or other fields relevant to this assignment.

* At least 10 years of experience in legal issues related to regulatory matters, preferably with specific experience in education. Previous experience in providing legal advice to EU Member States on Education Quality Assurance and Accreditation is an asset.

* Should possess a strong legal background in civil law and knowledge in its policies and operational procedures;

* Preferably, have a record of previous experience within Middle East countries. Experience in Egypt will be an asset;

* Experience of modern organizational management system including legal matters related to policy formulation;

* Proven experience in legal functional review.

* Solid knowledge of Egyptian laws and regulations in the area of education is an asset

* Excellent command of both spoken and written English

* Good presentation and computer skills.
