Absolutely required:

• Senior expert with relevant university education and at least 10 years of professional experience
• Solid experience with institutional assessments, organisational change and institution building.
• Solid experience with the African Peace and Security sector
• Solid consultancy experience with design and conduct of multi-faceted studies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent English, working knowledge of French.
• Medical fitness for duty in Addis Ababa.

Desirably:

• Robust, result-oriented personality with solid experience from working with multi-cultural and multi-professional teams
• Keen sense of diplomacy and cultural sensitivity
• Previous working experience with APSA – related institutions.
