• Advanced university degree in economics, public administration, management, law and/or areas relevant for the assignment
• At least 3 years of professional experience with civil society organizations.
• Proven experience in grant management.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Track record in EC assistance programmes.
• Experience with civil society in the region and in Egypt in particular will be considered an asset in the selection process.
• Verbal communication skills in Arabic and a background in the Human Rights field will be considered an asset in the selection process.
